In the solo performance "When you really want to live, but you don't know how" actress Emilija Latėnaitė embodies four characters from different eras, countries and social classes who are searching for their identity. Their situations reveal that times change, but the most important questions that arise for a person remain the same.

In the play Tarquinio Merulas, Alessandro Stradella and the famous "Duettissimo" - cellist Gleb Pyšniak and violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė you want to live, but you don't know how. I don't want to surprise you with effects or form, but to create an atmosphere vibrating with sensitivity with the power of acting and live sound, so that every viewer can meet, feel and enjoy themselves.

The original characters were based on real historical figures, but after that I wanted to keep it to myself as a source of inspiration. Because I don't have the goal of recreating an accurate historical documentary and conveying it. For me, history is a way, a tool to realize that you are just a part of a continuum. It's easy to get lost, to think it's just me. There were many before me, and after me, it is necessary to do so that there are many left... This is what history is about. What is a person without a story? We each have a different personal relationship with history, like with God, that's why His themes will be there..." - says actress E. Latėnaitė
