In the monoplay "When you really want to live, but you don't know how", actress Emilija Latėnaitė embodies four characters from different eras, countries and social backgrounds who are searching for identity. Their situations reveal, that times change, but the most important questions that arise for man remain the same.
In the play Tarquinio Merulas, Alessandro Stradella and the famous "Duettissimo" - cellist Gleb Pyšniak and violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė.
"This is a bright performance about the longing of another and meeting yourself. About moments when you really want to live, but you don't know I don't want to surprise with effects or form, but to create an atmosphere vibrating with sensitivity with the power of acting and live sound, so that every viewer can to meet the long-seen self, to feel and enjoy.
The original characters were based on real historical figures, but after that I wanted to keep it just for me - as a source of inspiration. Because I don't have the goal of recreating an accurate historical documentary and conveying it. For me, history is a way, a tool to realize that you are just a part of a continuum. It's easy to get lost, to think it's just me. There were many before me, and after me, it is necessary to do so that there are many left... This is what the story is about. What is a person without a story? We each have a different personal relationship with history, just like with God, that's why His themes will be there..." - says actress E. Latėnaitė
