Triple-edged circle is a movement performance (sketch) that explores the process of transformation through repetition. This is the result of an artistic research that seeks how movement can become a fundamental source of creative ideas and tries to reveal inner experiences encoded in movement. This artistic study/performance was inspired by Gabriele's desire to make sense of intuitive movement. Movement repetition emerged as a research tool to help understand the potential of one movement and opportunities for its further development by discovering as many variations as possible. Variation naturally becomes a process of transformation, and repetitive movements bring the possibility of a meditative state, where subconscious (hard to name) images lie, which can further influence the transformation of movement and become a source of ideas.

About Gabrielle:

Gabrielle Emily Aidulis in 2015. started the season dancing in the contemporary dance theater "Aura". Later, deciding to expand her knowledge abroad, she entered the ArtEZ University of Arts, where she graduated in 2020. obtained a bachelor's degree in dancer/designer and completed an internship with choreographer Ann Van den Broek in the company "WArd/waRD". Since then, Gabrielle has worked as a freelance dancer and choreographer, creating her own work and appearing in other choreographers' productions. She works closely with the German choreographer Jon Frey, creating urban dance performances together. She also explores the fusion of house dance and ballet with the choreographer and dancer Joseph Simon.

In her work, she looks for unusual forms of movement that go beyond the usual style frames, and creates her works by experimenting with abstraction. Her work invites viewers to interpret the pieces through personal experiences, hoping to evoke an emotional response, stimulate the imagination, and free them from reality. At the same time, she believes that even abstractly created works are inevitably interpreted through the prism of social or political topics relevant to viewers, as this naturally happens in the current context.
