Audiovisual Experience The "We haven't been so" "returns for the only weekend of this year!
"We have not agreed" is an experienced audiovisual performance that united the deaf community and professional artists from the hearing world. This is where music, video art, deaf creation in sign language and unique audio experience meet.
During the show, viewers will have the opportunity to experience original works created during the project: sign language poetry lyrics and songs, written in Lithuanian sign language and international gestures, as well as in Lithuanian and English, which will be accompanied by original music. The works can be felt on the loud frequency platform that enhances the sound sensations.
The uniqueness of this show is determined by an invitation to re -look at what is language and ask ourselves a question do we really listen to our ears?
Artistic director and project initiator Dominykas Vaitiekūnas, 2020 As he began a study of deaf communities and music, and familiar with the tradition of deaf imitation songs, he invited members of the community not only to imitate the songs already created, but also to immerse themselves in an infinitely interesting creative world, which unites at first glance two very opposite worlds: sound and silence, deaf and hearing.
