Rhesanium – an object theater performance for young people and adults

The poetic nature of the main subject L. Rėza justifies the chosen artistic means – speaking in hints, metaphoricity, lyricism. The creative team of the play focused their creative imagination on the life of L. Rėza and brought to the surface what can be sensed or read between the lines of the biography. With the tools of the theater of objects, I am able to tell what no research, no biography could reveal: through atmospheric sensations, hints, revived and humanized objects, the great metaphysics of human life appeals to the viewer - what cannot be described, becomes felt and experienced together.

In the hour-long performance "Rhesanium" the journey of life from homelessness to living in a dormitory is acted out and acted out.

L is created from the details Portraits of other characters representing Reza's era and environment. Even excerpts from philosopher Immanuel Kant's "Critique of Pure Reason" can be heard, Donelaitis' preaching of "Years" to people of good will, letters spilling from the carriage traveling along the Post Road start to speak, and it turns out that the inhabitants of the past country are not only alive, but also searching, waiting, reporting and advising.
