Robert Schneideris a writer of Austrian origin who wrote short stories , novels, texts for the theater and poetry. The writer's novel "Sleeping Brother" (1992) received international recognition, it is included in the lists of compulsory literature for schoolchildren. In 1995, director Joseph Vilsmaier made a film based on "Sleep Brother", Herbert Willis staged an opera, a ballet was staged at the Phalztheater, and the book is still a source of inspiration for performances.

According to the performance directed by Adam Juška, "Miego brolis" is a performance about a particularly sensitive person - Johannes Elijas Alders, about his relationship with love, music and death. About a person who lives, feels and finally dies without any compromises. About a person who is able to perceive music immediately, sensually, and at the same time is able to accept and hear the world around him as music. Maybe it's not possible in reality, but I want to create about the impossible. About impossible sensitivity, impossible love. It is not for nothing that Elias plays the organ in the piece, and not another instrument - the purpose of the organ has always been religious and spiritual. And human life and destiny sometimes obey more the laws of music. Every person "plays" a certain piece with his life, thoughts, and actions.
