The youngest generation director Justinas Vinciūnas, looking for a unique approach to the Holocaust and the many topics related to this phenomenon, he turns not to great works of fiction, but to authentic memories of Kazimierz Sakowicz, a witness of the massacre of Jews in Vilnius, 2012. published in the form of the book "Paneriu dienorastis 1941-1943".
According to director J. Vinciūnas, K. Sakowicz's testimonies are so cruel that one has to face them while reading them. with the limit of your compassion. One wants to attribute the described horror to the plane of imagination, even though it is a documentary source. This limit of perception is one of the essential themes of the play. In the performance, we try not only to feel the silence between the real experience of people and the sources polished by time, but also to dispel it.
