Vilniaus Small Theater (VVMT), in cooperation with VšĮ "Darbininkai", invites the audience to the premiere of "Unfaithful" by Naubert Jasinskas, a young generation theater director and creator of audiovisual experiences. . "Bergman and the Vilnius Small Theater have a common aesthetic sense, where creative connections can be made," says N. Jasinskas. He creates the performance as a visual poetic narrative based on the script of the famous Swedish modern filmmaker Ingmar Bergman, which the director himself never managed to transfer to the film.

In "Unfaithful" I. Bergman examines the world of the artist, his conflicts, passions, quests, failures. Marianė is an actress whose husband is a famous conductor. They have a daughter, Izabela, and it's a beautiful, harmonious family. However, the woman falls in love with a family friend - a theater and film director who is not very successful. This step of hers turns into a horrible family catastrophe.

"It is very important to emphasize that I do not agree with I. Bergman. I disagree with his ideology, but I am very interested in how he paints a picture of a dysfunctional family. This director was indeed a genius of undoubted talent, at the same time characterized by a terrible complex of qualities, but creating very interesting scenarios that are worth talking about", N. Jasinskas is convinced. He claims that the play is primarily about the perspective of love and infidelity: "I. Bergman divides infidelity into physical and spiritual. He was the first to consider spiritual infidelity as more significant in cinema. I believe that the reason for the sadness of many people today lies in the "sealed" instructions of culture and religion on how we should live. These are so deeply imprinted that we can no longer look at it differently, which is why it is interesting to explore the duality of the heroine's choices."

Why do we deny our lust, even though it is inexorable? How and why is the inability to express one's needs born in a person? What happens when we don't speak, ignore and silence the truth?

Director N. Jasinskas was born in 1995 in Šiauliai, 2014-2018. LMTA completed Bachelor of Theater Directing, 2018-2020. LMTA received a master's degree in theater direction (supervisor - Yana Ross). in 2021 N. Jasinskas was nominated for the "Golden Stage Cross" for the performance "fabrica" ​​(Vilnius International Theater Festival "Sirens") in the Pandemic-Resistant Theater category; in 2022 for the performance "bowel" at the Kaunas City Chamber Theater, he won the "Golden Stage Cross" in the Young Artist category; in 2023 dir. N. Jasinska's performance "Pelikanas" based on A. Strindberg (OKT) has been nominated for three "Golden Stage Crosses" in the categories of director, actress and actor; in 2023 N.
