VMT, in cooperation with VšĮ "Darbininkai", invites you to the performance "Unfaithful" by the director, creator of audiovisual experiences Naubert Jasinskas. It is a visual poetic story created according to the script of the famous Swedish modern filmmaker and theater director Ingmar Bergman.

In "Unfaithful", I. Bergman is concerned with the world of the artist, his soul-breaking conflicts, passions, creative searches, failures. When writing the screenplay, he used many years of rich personal experience. In the work, the aging writer is visited by Marianė, a character created by his imagination, but extremely realistic, who tells a dramatic story of herself and the writer himself. Marianė is an actress, her husband is a famous conductor, they have a daughter Izabela, this is a beautiful, harmonious family. However, the woman falls in love with a family friend - a theater and film director who is not very successful. This irresponsible step turns into a terrible family tragedy.

The play is primarily about the perspective of love and infidelity: how and why is the so-called duality, the inability to express one's needs, born in a person? Why do we deny our lust when it is unrelenting? What happens when we don't speak up, ignore and silence the truth? At the end of his life, I. Bergman reconsiders the perspective of dysfunctional or compromised relationships. In the performance, the story is told not from the alterego created by I. Bergman, but from the perspective of a woman - an unfaithful one.
