The performance is based on the widely known Lithuanian playwright Marius Ivaškevičius's play, which presents Lithuania as a certain phenomenon in an original, self-ironic and intellectual way, revealing the authentic attitude of Lithuanians towards themselves and the world. For the work about Lithuanian utopias, the author "found" a unique and non-legendary 20th century. the personality of the first half - geographer, traveler, geopolitician and public figure Kazi Pakštas. Sensing the fate of Lithuania, he planned to move it to some African country and create a "reserve" homeland there.

If in the first part of director Rimos Tumin's performance, which makes the audience cheer, the main focus is on Kazimierus Pokštus (actors Tomas Rinkūnas, Ramūnas Cicėnas) and his crazy idea "to concentrate Lithuanians in mass emigration". to Africa, the second belongs more to Sale (actress Indrė Patkauskaitė), her dramatic fate, the prototype of which is the sensitive poet Salomeja Nėris. "Madagascar" seems to recreate the myth of S. Nėris and makes Salė equal to the utopian K. Pakštas. In the second part of the play, the disaster of the "Lituanika" piloted by S. Darius and S. Girėnas, as well as the war, the occupation, are echoed.

It allows theater to be born anywhere. The audience in the theater should feel like they are at a party, enjoy the layering of meanings, but at the same time feel that this party is not eternal, it will end.
