Strangers meet at a bus or train stop. Maybe at the vaporetto stop in Venice or Frankfurt airport. For everyone, it is a transit point, a place without existing ties, with which no one connects.
However, in the vacuum created by time, strangers come closer, a sincerity prevails between them, which is possible only between strangers, between interlocutors who will never meet again.
These are circumstances and a place where you can share your greatest joy, fears or shame.
You can be heard without fear of being judged or rejected. You can be silent, sing, be yourself, be anything, lie, pretend, make things up. No consequences.
Limbo is the place between Heaven and Hell. It includes unbaptized babies; the righteous who died before Christ; souls undeserving of punishment but unable to attain salvation.
Limbo - state after divorce; after the death of a loved one; after emigration; after the war; after being fired.
Limbo is a place without suffering, but also without hope. Dante Alighieri placed Homer, Horace, Ovid, Socrates, Plato and Virgil there in the first part of The Divine Comedy.
Limbo is a West Indian dance in which the dancers have to pass under an ever-lowering bar.
Limbo is a video game developed by Danish studio Playdead.

Ilja Moštickij - Armenian theater director, curator, adept of experimental theater, 2005 graduated from the St. Petersburg Academy of Theater Arts, where he majored in theater directing. He staged plays in Armenia, Ukraine, Germany, and Russia. I. Moščickij stands out for his interdisciplinary, convention-breaking, politically and ethically engaged performances, which transcends the boundaries of traditional theater, combines dramatic, physical theater, contemporary dance, and includes elements of the circus. The fourth wall is often broken, the audience is drawn into the stage action. More notable performances: "The Trial of Jonas Demjaniuk. The Holocaust Cabaret", "The Book of Anxiety" (based on the work of F. Pessoa), "Forget" (based on the biography of S. Paradžanov), "The Oak of Michael Craig Martin" (based on the texts of I. Moščickis, T. Crouch and M. C. Martin), etc. From 2022 summer because of the war against Ukraine, political reasons moved from Russia to Armenia, Yerevan. Currently leading the 2018 for the founded international theater troupe "Chronotope". The troupe unites artists from different cultural and linguistic backgrounds, it is close to documentary, performative theater. Chronotope's projects explore the themes of memory, migration, language, often ignoring the boundaries of theater and public space.
