A play based on this novel was also staged in the Old Theater of Vilnius in 1963.

This time the play based on F. Dostoyevsky's novels "Idiots" and "Demons" was staged by our modern director Agnius Jankevičius, who has appeared prominently in the theatrical avant-garde, does not avoid classical productions in his work, and successfully cooperates with our theater. Jankevich says: "The famous rock musician and poet Jim Morrison, when asked what he thought the audience really needed, replied: 'I think people need something spiritual.' could not contain his laughter.
