Choreographer Birutė Banevičiūtė's "World Tree" is a sensory-friendly movement performance for toddlers, which will give them the freedom to explore movements, body speech, objects on the scene. The actors' costumes, which change color and shape, and the scenography details in the play encourage babies to move and experience the joy of discovery. And for adults, it's an extraordinary opportunity to see their little ones in a completely different, non-ordinary, artistic environment that awakens children's imagination and develops creativity. The performance is without words, so movements become a universal language here.

In Lithuanian mythology, snakes live at the bottom of the tree, people and bees live at the trunk, and birds live in the branches. On stage, during the performance, the actors creatively transform abstract objects of various shapes and textures into mythological attributes of the world tree, leaving space for the children to interpret the proposed ideas themselves.

"There is no single right answer, what babies should also understand how to react during the performance, all their reactions are appropriate and acceptable, so moms and dads can relax and not worry if their child does something different from the others those present," suggests the choreographer.
