This is a musical tale about a turtle who, rejected by his older brothers, travels the world alone in search of happiness. During this trip, he learns many important things, one of which is that happiness is different for everyone.
One of the oldest performances of "Lėlė" is distinguished by its inventive scenography (as if we see the world through the eyes of a turtle), the treatment of characters colored with unexpected humor (e.g. with magical powers, but a small fortune awarded to the Bird of Luck) and improvisations by actors.
Since 1998. Irmantas Jankaitis plays in the play. This is the debut of this popular drama actor in the puppet theater, which became his introduction to the profession of a puppeteer (Irmantas plays over ten different characters here!). Today, Jankaitis is one of the most prominent creators of "Lėlė".
