Now - after all this time, he knows well what happened, he knows that his mother is not there and why, but he is still preparing to accept and understand, to live the truth. The truth that those around him were unable to name when he was little. The fear of adults has imprisoned the Boy, making him unhappy, unable to deal with his feelings, and possibly nearing the same end as his mother...You buy an elephant. Don't want to? Everyone says they don't want to, but you buy an elephant. No need? Everyone says you don't have to, but you buy an elephant. Actor Mantas Bendžius was awarded the Golden Cross of the Stage in the category of the best young artist for the role of the Boy. Director Eglė Kižaitė was nominated for the Golden Cross of the Stage in the directing category for the performance "Pirk drambli".
