ABOUT THE SEMINAR:

Our baby is ready for breastfeeding!
In the first year of life, the foundation of practically all processes in the child's body is laid. How and what he eats depends on his physical and mental development, how well his immune system will develop, whether he will have allergic reactions or not. In addition, even life expectancy depends on what and how a child eats in the first year. European and global recommendations on when and how to include complementary foods in the baby's diet.

Topics:
• Signs of the baby's readiness for complementary foods.
• When and how to start complementary feeding?
• How to properly introduce additional food to the baby?
• Can you give water in the first months of life?
• Do you need to give sugar and salt?
• From what to start with vegetables?
• Make or choose industrially produced food?
• What kind of porridge to start with? What is gluten?
• Which grains have a lot of iron?
• Which foods improve iron absorption? , how important it is to eat well if you want to grow up big and smart!

The duration of the seminar is 2 hours.

The seminar is led by lecturer Natalja Bartkevičienė, certified breastfeeding consultant.
