Vytautas Labutis and Donatas Bielkauskas, the masters of experimental sounds, invite you to an audible journey of industrial romanticism, which blends at first glance in incompatible worlds - different creative practice and individual access. Both artists explore the interaction of human and the environment in their own way, and their musical dialogue is full of surprises. Although both creators are active in improvisational music, their origins lie in different stylistic poles. This stage meeting is the first in the context of a joint show, despite previous collisions in other projects.
In the concert we will hear experimental sounds of acoustic instruments, industrial space outdoor records, self -made instruments. All of this will join a seamless audio narrative - an adventure that the performers will invite you to immerse yourself with the listeners. It is not only a concert, but an experience that invites you to delve deeper into, hear and rethink the world.
Vytautas Labutis is one of the most prominent personalities of the Lithuanian jazz scene: multi -instrumentalist, improviser, composer and educator. His musical language includes free improvisation and fixed structures, chamber performances and large ensembles. Since 1982 Labutis cooperates with academic music creators, participates in interdisciplinary performances, creating theater and cinema.
Donatas Bielkauskas is a creator whose music is boldly balanced between experimental electronics, ambient sounds and acoustic discoveries. His work includes technology, natural sounds, industrial noise and unexpected, and objects discovered. Donatas' works are distinguished by conceptuality, sound diversity and craftsmanship. He is the winner of the Golden Stage Cross (2023, 2024), the year of the year (2007).
