The dance troupe Ulna marks her 5th birthday with a special project-a cycle of contemporary dance seminars "(to) Dance". In November, intensive activities are for young people who have already advanced dance (14-29) who will have the opportunity to expand their knowledge, deepen their skills and inspire new experiences. During this cycle, the strongest and most interesting artists of Lithuania and foreign contemporary dance and movement will invite you to explore the boundaries of contemporary dance!

About the lecturer

Fire started his professional path at the National M. K. Čiurlionis School of Art, where he studied a classic piano for 15 years. Later he discovered ballet and various dance style - contemporary street dance, commercial jazz, modern dance. 2017 He started his studies at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater, in the specialty of contemporary dance. During his studies he created several mono -performances, and in recent years he began to cooperate with well -known Lithuanian choreographers and was invited to join Aira Naginevičiūtė Dance Theater Aira.

2021 Graduated from a Bachelor's degree in Contemporary Dance and Pedagogy at the LMTA and went to Italy, where he deepened the experience of the Compagnia Petrillo Danza TEACHIC. Later he started working as a dancer and actress with international troupes - Twain - Center Produzion Danza, Anonyima Theateri and Compagnia Petrillo Danza.

2024. After returning to Lithuania, Ugne joined the ULNA Dance Troupe, the Sheikh Dance Theater, became a member of the Contemporary Dance Association and LATGA. Currently, she is actively creating and appearing on Lithuanian and foreign scenes, as well as teaches LMTA, dance group Plalaformas and other studies, conducting seminars in Lithuania and abroad.

About the seminar

The seminar is for advanced dancers who want to deepen the technique of contemporary dance, strengthen body control and expand the capabilities of motion. During the classes the focus will be on:
Active, vibrant body status generation, training of musicality and rhythm, search for strength and explosive energy, development of freedom, lightness and breathing, allowing body weight to move smoothly in space.
