Pazaislis Camaldulia Monastery and St. The enigmatic attraction of the Church of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary has long stimulated people's imagination. Monastery in the 17th century. founded in the second half by Kristupas Zigmantas Pacas, Chancellor of the Grand Duchy of Lithuania. The construction of the monastery began in 1667. The mountain on which the ensemble was built is named Monte Pacis (Mountain of Peace).
Today, the monastery has more than three centuries of legendary history, and is fascinating with its unique baroque architecture and colorful surroundings. During the excursion, we will visit a monastery and a church. The guide will tell about the Camaldulia monks and other owners of the monastery, its founders and the most famous masters who worked here at that time, will reveal the secrets of the frescoes.
Start of the tour: Pažaislis Kamalduuli Monastery (Masiulio St. 31, Kaunas). The guide will be waiting for you at the ticket office.
Tour duration: 1 hour. 45 minutes
Excursion ticket price: 15 Eur for an adult; 12 Eur for a senior, a student; for a disabled person; free of charge - for children and schoolchildren participating in the excursion together with their parents.
In addition, all participants of the tour must purchase a visitor's ticket for the Pažaislis ensemble at the museum's ticket office. Ticket price: 10 EUR for an adult, 5 EUR for a schoolchild, student, senior citizen.

An excursion to the Pažaislis Monastery can also be booked privately, at a time convenient for you, during the working hours of the Pažaislis Monastery Ensemble. From Tuesday to Friday - 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., Saturdays 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
