Art summer camp - creative workshop in Klaipėda for children aged 7-12
July 7-30 A summer day camp will be held for children aged 7 to 12 years old in the Exhibition Hall of the Klaipėda Cultural Communication Center (KKKC) (Dižioja Vandens St. 2), in the very old town of Klaipėda, where little artists will be able to express themselves by painting, doing graphics, sculpting, and have a good summer morning surrounded by art.
Throughout the month of July, the KKKC Exhibition Hall will turn into a real base for art explorers, where the secrets of the sea, creative discoveries and many unexpected artistic adventures await young creators. Inspired by the "West Winds'26" exhibition, children will explore the rhythms of the waves, the traces of the wind, the colors of the seashore and create their own unique art worlds.
Schedule:
Day 1 - SCULPTURE
Fantastic fish, sea monsters and underwater treasures will be born from the model, which we will fish from the depths of our imagination.
Day 2 - PAINTING
We will paint sea worlds big and small: from stormy waves with a palette knife to colorful sea inhabitants.
Day 3 - GRAPHICS
We will turn linocut into a real creative adventure - we will create wave signs, seaside symbols and our own prints.
During the camp-creative workshop, children will not only learn the basics of art, but also look for their own creative style, develop imagination and the courage to create in their own way. Unexpected artistic discoveries, games and gifts await! You don't need to "know how to draw" here - the most important thing is curiosity, imagination and the desire to discover.
Practical information:
Group size - up to 10 children. Parents (guardians) will sign consent for the child's participation. Meals are not provided during the classes.
