Creative workshop "Silver summer" with photo artist Audronius Žemgulis
August 29, Saturday, 1:00 p.m. In the Art Yard of the Klaipėda Cultural Communication Center (KKC), Daržų st. 10, there will be a vintage 19th century wet collodion photography workshop, the theme of which is summer light and flowers in portraits.
Summer is slowly receding. Field grasses are already ripening their seeds, flowers are no longer blooming as abundantly as in early summer, and the evening light is becoming softer and longer. This is the time when you want not only to see the beauty of summer, but also to preserve it.
In this workshop, we will photograph summer accents and flower portraits using the wet collodion technique. We will look for light in the silhouettes of plants, the fragility of flowers and the human gaze. We will be able to create both a classic portrait and a delicate summer still life, in which herbs, flowers or other signs of summer will become the main characters.
Each image will be created by hand on glass or aluminum and will become a unique, unique memory of summer.
"Silver summer" is a moment when summer has not yet ended, but is already beginning to turn. as a reminder.
