Speed dating (lit. "Quick date") is a dating event for intensively working, busy people who cannot devote much time to searching for a second half.

The purpose of this evening is to provide an opportunity to meet as many interesting people as possible. . The event is usually attended by an equal number of women and men of a similar age. You communicate with one participant for just 4 minutes, when the signal sounds, you go to the next one, etc. Each participant marks on a special
card after a new acquaintance whether they would like to meet that person again. "Yes" means that this is a person with whom you had the pleasure of communicating and would like to meet him in the future.
