In the Soviet era, there was a lot of talk about the achievements and bright future of the Communist Party. And what were the whispers about? About the personal life of the rulers, about the security service of the KGB, about the activities of the resistance fighters, about the destroyed cemeteries. During this excursion, we will go from the residences of high-ranking communists to the place that was created as a kind of "island of freedom" - the "Neringa" restaurant. A restaurant where you could whisper, but all whispers could be heard. Soviet privileges, the work of artists and the price they paid for the opportunity to be in public life, illegal publications, the Helsinki group, the first punks. Such a kaleidoscope of official and informal life will rotate during this excursion. During the tour, you will get to know more than 10 objects. These are the places of life of the nomenclature, destroyed cemeteries, houses of famous artists, those who collaborated with the Soviet government and those who suffered from it. The place they wanted to replace the church, and of course the restaurant where the freest discussions took place, as far as the KGB allowed. Guide: Donatas Jokūbaitis.
