Čiurlionis was entrusted to paint the stage curtain of this society. The creative process was accompanied by challenges and trials, and the legend of the stage curtain has remained alive until today. During the tour, attention is paid to the connection of M. K. Čiurlionis with this building, the motifs of his art, namely the motifs and symbols of the curtain, to which the artist's wife Sofija Kymantaitė added the final elements. The reproduction of the curtain that currently greets the audience of the Vilnius Small Theater attracts the eye with its imagery, the choice of colors characteristic of M.K. Čiurlionis's work and the enigmatic nature of the image. The images expressed in the painting, especially the motif of the altar, shape the spirit of the Vilnius Small Theater and the aesthetics of the performances to this day. It is interesting that the sculptural composition of the bell unveiled this year to the founder of the theater, R. Tumin, integrates Čiurlionis motifs, reflecting the director's aesthetic view, thus creating a strong cultural dialogue between different artists and art spheres, different periods and contexts. The excursion reveals the artistic versatility of M. K. Čiurlionis, the dialogue between different societies, integrating the past into the thinking and activities of the present. The participants of the tour will have the opportunity not only to hear more about the history of the Vilnius Small Theater, but also to delve deeper into the painting work, to get to know M.K. Čiurlionis' imagery, the cultural symbols used. The tour will be led by Vincentas Klipčius, the director of the literary section of the Vilnius Small Theater. in 2020 He obtained a master's degree in humanities at Vilnius University. 2020-2024 taught cultural contexts and cultural theories courses for theater actors and directors at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater in bachelor's and master's programs. 2023-2024 worked as a museum educator, later as a coordinator of educational activities.
