The Rīga Sinfonietta chamber orchestra and soprano Gunta Gelgotė, considered one of the best chamber orchestras in the Baltic countries, will make their debut at the opening concert of the festival, which has been gathering classical music listeners for two decades. since its founding, Normunds Šnē, the famous country musician, is leading and conducting. The orchestra's repertoire is extremely wide, covering the subtleties of the Baroque era and the accents of today's music, combining Western and Eastern European musical traditions. The orchestra, which has won many awards, including a Grammy, and has a special sound quality, never ceases to search for new musical horizons and spaces. In order to nurture Latvian chamber music, the orchestra annually includes works by contemporary Latvian composers in its repertoire.

Gunta Gelgotė (soprano) - a Latvian soloist who has been living and creating in Lithuania for the second decade, is increasingly seen in contemporary opera productions and chamber music. The winner of the "Golden Cross of the Stage" stands out for her extremely delicate coloratura soprano and versatility. The musician's repertoire includes not only classic works, but also ancient Baltic songs.

The concert program includes works by famous Austrian composers of the 18th century: J. Haydn's Symphony No. 103 and works of vocal music by V. A. Mozart.
