These verses by Marius Repšis reflect the mood that the actor and musician together with pianist Joris Sodeika and soprano Karolina Glinskaite aims to present the theatrical concert "From Darkness to Light" to the audience. Artists will dive into the darkest layers of the soul, but even in the thickest darkness they will find a breakthrough of light that fills the soul with kindness and peace. Marius Repšys is one of the most famous Lithuanian theater and film actors, who created many memorable roles and won several prestigious theater awards and a film award. He expresses his creativity not only in acting, but also in music. Music, like theater, occupies an important place in the life of Marius. He has been seen playing the piano more than once on stage, having tried the saxophone, appearing many times as a performer and songwriter with the group "Basas Pegasas", this time he will present yet another type of music and verses composed by himself.

Joris Sodeika - a pianist who does not shy away to try a variety of roles. Theater stage, improvisations in unexpected spaces, prestigious pianist competitions or stylized 19th century. musical salon - no matter where he participates, he does not go unnoticed. This charismatic performer is characterized by versatility and the spirit of an adventurer.

Soprano Karolina Glinskaitė boldly takes on creative challenges and implements them with her characteristic stagecraft, character and sense of music. Karolina learned vocal subtleties from opera grand tenor Prof. V. Noreikos, trained in Italy for a long time. Karolina's flexibility as a classical performer, her ability to adapt to every genre, every project in which she participates, is surprising. She radiates an endless desire to reveal the beauty of music. Karolina's voice is heard on Lithuanian and foreign stages, and the spectrum of performances is wide - from classical to electronic opera, jazz and baroque fusion and theatrical concerts, like this one, created together with like-minded artists, in which Karolina not only sings, but also reads her own lines.

Creators share their experiences and spiritual experiences using their music, poetry, and improvisation. Their work invites us to rise towards the light, where hope, faith reigns, the unrelenting desire to live in peace, where the sanctuary of knowledge emerges.

"We want to give people hope. The name of the concert "From Darkness to Light" symbolizes a flower, a lotus, a lily, which reaches for the sun from the mud and swamps, i.e. of higher knowledge, of God. Most of us live in a dark period, maybe even darkness. But there is always a way out. You just have to turn like a plant, a flower, a tree to where there is light. I think it is necessary to strive for that knowledge that anyone can discover if they want to. After all, all things have their own nature, purpose, and how you use them, so they will serve you. The same thing happens with the Spirit of man. If you give the Spirit higher fodder, your words, thoughts and actions will be appropriate - Marius Repšys shares his thoughts on creative thinking.
