The Belgian chamber orchestra CASCO PHIL, performing for the first time in the Northern European region, will appear in Lithuania, Pažaislio at a music festival. The innovative and daring team, which has earned a solid reputation in the field of both classical music and experimental cross-genre projects, will present the program together with one of Estonia's most versatile and outstanding pianists - IRINA ZAHHARENKOVA.
CASCO PHIL is a dynamic ensemble that overturns all preconceived notions about the orchestra. They are a flexible, dedicated group of musicians with a wide repertoire. Based on the works of Western European classical music, CASCO PHIL deliberately crosses the boundaries of genres and likes to enter the fields of contemporary avant-garde, jazz and popular music. HAEMHOUTS, whose creative activity is distinguished by "rock and roll spice, creative ideas and a lot of drive". Led by the artistic vision of B. Haemhouts, CASCO PHIL has become a unique phenomenon on the Belgian scene.
Musicians with no shortage of new ideas say: "As artists CASCO PHIL we always look ahead. Where should the idea of a traditional orchestra go? How can we renew this old repertoire? What non-standard solutions can we offer in order to reach a new audience?'' /p>
