2 METERS: Dave Norvilas and Rafailas Karpis announce their biggest adventure - the arena tour "The Funniest Christmas Show"

After a successful tour throughout Lithuania, the project "2 METRAI" said goodbye to the program "The funniest concert of the year" in a packed Palanga concert hall. But the farewell is only temporary. Deividas Norvilas-Deivis and Rafailas Karpis are already preparing a new surprise for the listeners and are announcing the biggest concerts of their career - in December, the new program "The Funniest Christmas Show" will be played in the country's major concert halls and arenas together with the Kaunas Big Band (chief conductor - Tomas Botyrius).

The new program "The Funniest Christmas Show" presented in December, directed by Andrius Žiurauskas, will be much more than a concert. The audience will be waiting for a spectacle that combines the elements of a concert, a performance, a humor performance and a show with the Kaunas big band, LED visualisations, impressive scenography, lighting solutions, specially created music and unexpected surprises.
"Christmas is a time of miracles not only for the audience, but also for us, the performers, so we will try to create a miracle on stage. We are preparing a lot of interesting ideas, which we hope will get people into a real Christmas mood," says Rafail.
"There will be a big band, there will be Christmas carols, there will be surprises. We will definitely do it as we always do - with lots of laughs," adds Davies.
The organizers of Pepper Live mention that the audience will be waiting for not only new original songs, but also unexpected interpretations of well-known works. One thing the team can promise right now - pigeons will not fly in this show. However, the organizers are not responsible for all other surprises waiting on the stage.
During the "funniest concert of the year" tour, which lasted more than half a year, the duo toured Lithuania, held dozens of concerts and, as they joke, managed to get to know each other better.
"My favorite quality of Dave is that he is the only colleague who doesn't block me on stage. The worst quality? He is very annoying - he always gets stuck in the same place, he always doesn't like something. Although, to be honest, the only person who is more annoying than him is probably myself," laughs Rafail.
Davis also mentions the shortcomings of his scene partner with a smile.
"Rafail's worst quality is that during the trips he chooses particularly bad restaurants, where the whole team has to go. And the good quality is that when he understands where he brought us, he pays for everyone," says the performer.
It is the openness of the duo that became one of the ingredients of the success of the "2 METRAI" project. According to Rafail, the audience likes to see real people, not staged characters.
"We are not afraid to express real feelings on stage - to get angry or put each other in their place. If we are not the best duo in Lithuania, we are certainly one of the most sincere. We are not pretending," he says.
During the tour, the duo made sure that they complement each other perfectly not only on stage, but also behind the scenes.
"We supplement each other with food, usually low-calorie, because Rafail takes care of not only his figure, but also mine," says Davies seriously.
