The Kaunas City Symphony Orchestra is starting its 20th anniversary concert season!
During two decades, the orchestra implemented many significant projects and intensively developed its publishing activities. Listeners were repeatedly invited to the concerts of world-famous stars.
The orchestra's discography consists of more than two dozen CDs. The music albums were declared the best in the world and even nominated three times for the prestigious "Grammy" and the International Classical Music Awards.
Last year was incredibly successful, creative and full of global appreciations for the orchestra. The collective, led by Algimantas Treikauskas, in 2022. was awarded the "Golden Disc" award for its high artistic level and intensive concert activity. conductor and pianist Lera Auerbach invites you to solemnly start the festive season.
For this concert, the conductor and soloist of the evening chose a special program, which will interweave the so-called Austrian genius W.A. Mozart, Vienos classicist schools the beauty of the works of the founder J. Haydn and Lera Auerbach herself. Students are invited to feel the magic of the sounds of a virtuoso-controlled piano and the harmony of a perfectly sounding orchestra.
