The Kaunas State Philharmonic presents young listeners to the project of a renowned Lithuanian opera soloist, Professor Vladimir Prudnikov - Charles Perrault's tale, created by two -act children's opera "Battle Cat".
The character of a shaved cat is alive in almost everyone's memory, but the storyline itself will often forget. "Battle Cat" begins with the following episode: when he died, the miller left his sons a mill, donkey and a cat. The young man, after receiving the cat, was very upset, but he assured him that he was a better legacy than it would seem at first glance. And how do the young and the cat continue? What tricks do you take on and what gifts and surprises do your master give? You will find out much more when you come to listen to the opera.
From the 17th century. The tale, which comes at the end of the 19th century, still does not lose its relevance: ingenuity and courage open all the roads. "This is a fun and instructive story about ingenuity, courage and how cunning can sometimes determine fate," says V. Prudnikov. "This opera is for children and not just children.
The audience will hear the talented young generation of opera soloists and composers Jean-Baptiste Weckerlin and W. Piero Luigi Niko Niko.
