The Lithuanian State Symphony Orchestra, Maestro Gintaras Rinkevičius, presents a unique, theatrical work of Turga Kashif (b. 1962), a British composer of Turkish origin, combining the work and symphony music of the legendary group Queen. "I wanted to reveal the primordial essence of this great music. I wanted to create something more than a simple orchestral, and I discovered that an integral part of Queen music is the language of the contemporary classic genre," says Kashif. “I am convinced that this piece, like other things related to Queen, can also cause a negative reaction. It breaks most of the rules of the symphony form. But I am also convinced that this symphony will become an immortal orchestra repertoire, as it will always gather full concert halls, ”says May.
