The Kaunas State Philharmonic presents to young listeners the project of the famous soloist of the Lithuanian Opera, professor Vladimir Prudnikovs - a two-act opera for children "Batuotas katinas" based on the fairy tale of Charles Perrault.

The character of the stuffed cat is alive in almost everyone's memory, but the plot of the tale itself is often somewhat forgotten. "Puss in Boots" begins with the following episode: when a miller died, he left a mill, a donkey and a cat to his sons. The young man, who received the cat, was very upset, but the cat assured him that it was a better inheritance than it seemed at first glance. And how are the young man and the cat doing? What tricks does the pooch play and what gifts and surprises does it give its owner? You will learn this and much more when you come to listen to the opera.

From the 17th century the fairy tale that arrived at the end of the 19th century has not lost its relevance to this day: intelligence and courage open all paths. "This is a fun and instructive story about intelligence, courage and how cunning can sometimes determine fate, - says V. Prudnikov. - This opera is for children and not only children. The show is intended for the whole family, so it will really be interesting for both young and old."

The audience will hear the talented young generation of opera soloists trained by the professor and the music of composers Jean-Baptiste Weckerlin and W. Piero Luigi Niko.
