The Kaunas String Quartet invites listeners to the annual series "Kaunas Quartet and Young Talents". The idea, which has become a tradition, gives young and talented performers the opportunity to play music together with a professional ensemble. This year, the collective presents a considerable group of talented pianists, so we will have the opportunity to hear even two concerts of this cycle. Elžbieta Valčiukaitė and Lukas Juškevičius, students of Juoz Naujalis Music High School in Kaunas, and Vardanas Geodakianas, a student of Vytautas the Great University, will play together with the quartet in the first concert.

E. VALČIUKAITĖ has been studying in the piano class of the expert teacher Rasa Krepštiene of Kaunas Juoz Naujalis Music Gymnasium for ten years. Elžbieta has participated in various competitions and festivals, but apart from all the achievements and awards, the most important thing for her is her love for music. "Music is a gift from God to me, a very important part of life, it helps me to express my feelings, for which sometimes words are not enough," says the young pianist.

L. JUŠKEVIČIUS has also been studying at Juozas Naujalis Music Gymnasium in Kaunas for the tenth year, in the piano class of method teacher Sonata Pakutkienė. The pianist associates his future with music, so he often participates in competitions and master classes. He learned the secrets of piano playing from Guoda Gedvilaitė, prof. Aleksandra Žvirblytė, Paulius Andersson, Andrew Brownell, Inga Liukaitytė-Kang participated in the following competitions - "Music without Borders", "Sounds of Music", "Musical Boys", "Amiticia Sonans", and also played as a soloist with the high school symphony orchestra. In Lukas's opinion, you can express through music what is difficult to express in words. "Music is like a language without borders, through which you can to say everything you can't say in words. I see music as a power, an expression of freedom, a means of self-expression and a way to connect culture and people." It is not for nothing that his creative decisions are encouraged in the performance of music by the thought of pianist G. Gedvilaitė: "Through music, you can and should do good, useful works that bring knowledge and light."

The third participant of this concert - Armenian pianist V. GEODAKIAN - improved his artistic skills while studying with Armen Babakhanian at the Yerevan State Conservatory, with Peter Lang at the "Mozarteum" University in Salzburg, and is currently continuing his studies with prof. Alexander Paley's piano class, Vytautas the Great University. V. Geodakianas is a prize winner of many international piano competitions in Malaysia, Lithuania, France, Armenia and Italy. in 2019 he made his debut with the orchestra, performing Edvard Grieg's Piano Concerto in A minor, Op. 16, with the YSC Orchestra in the Aram Khachaturian Concert Hall. This was followed by cooperation with the Kaunas City Symphony and Armenian Philharmonic Orchestras. The pianist has performed in Armenia, Italy, Lithuania, Austria, France, the USA, Germany and the United Kingdom. His performances were broadcast live in Armenia and Lithuania. V. Geodakianas is the co-author and editor of the book "The Miracle of Garnet" - the first music book published in Lithuania, which presents the piano works of Armenian composers. He has received more than ten scholarships and participated in master classes of famous artists
