Tonight's program includes the second part of the Kaunas String Quartet's traditional cycle "Kaunas Quartet and Young Talents", with the participation of another internationally recognized pianist, Prof. Pupils of Alexander Paley. Students playing music together with a professional ensemble is an incentive to raise the bar of mastery even higher and to open up to all their technical, virtuosic, and musical self-expression possibilities.

Pianist BÁRBARA PRADO was born in Mexico, where she studied at the Faculty of Music of the Autonomous University of Nuevo Leon under prof. Antonina Dragan, and is currently continuing his studies at Vytautas the Great University, prof. A. Paley's piano class. in 2023 she made her debut with the National Symphony Orchestra of Mexico in the Great Hall of the Palacio de Bellas Artes. Since then, she often appears as a guest with the most famous Mexican orchestras, gives recitals at the En Blanco y Negro and UNAM International Piano Festivals. The pianist is a laureate of several national and international competitions, in 2022-2024. Bárbara was the principal pianist of the UANL Chamber Orchestra. She attended several summer academies in Europe, also participated in various master courses, and often performs throughout Lithuania.
