And here it is - 2026. February 20 they are on the stage of VDU's Great Hall together with an orchestra that no longer needs to be introduced - the Kaunas Big Band celebrating its 35th anniversary.
Electro Deluxe is a band that critics call a phenomenon because their music is not told, but experienced. Their message to the Lithuanian audience sounds like a promise: "Get ready, we're going to sound like James Bond was invited to a mission at a jazz party." Their work combines jazz, funk, soul and electronica - a combination that ignites the audience and leaves no one indifferent. On stage, they are like a dormant volcano that erupts as soon as the first note is played. Temperament, improvisations, live interaction with the audience - even the microphones and brass stands seem to be dancing.
The Kaunas Big Band, which has been shaping Lithuanian jazz culture for three decades, sounds stronger today than ever. They raised generations of musicians, collaborated with the most prominent names, and on stages in Lithuania and abroad they are accompanied by a loyal audience and recognition.
