Kaunas Jazz 2025 returns! This time, a truly special musical meeting awaits the audience between the two world -class performers - guitar master and singer Hernan Romero (Argentina, USA) and saxophone virtuoso Kęstutis Vaiginis (Lithuania). Their Strings and Air project is a journey through music genres, cultures and emotions, where flamenco heat, jazz improvisation, classical elegance and contemporary music expression are intertwined.

Grammy winner Hernan Romero has repeatedly visited Lithuania and enslaved the audience not only with virtuoso play technique and southern musical passion, but also sincerity, smile and warmth.
His work combines the genres of flamenco, jazz and rhythm blues, and a career impressive:
· Started a musical career in New York, quickly earned recognition
· Cooperated with John McLaughlin, Pacia de Lucia, Al Di Meola
· Recorded projects with artists such as Alicia Keys
· Released some solo albums that reveal a wide stylistic palette
Kęstutis Vaiginis
The Lithuanian saxophonist and composer, who has studied in the Netherlands and the US, has been surprised by the audience with original creation and ambitious international projects for many years.
Among his stage partners are global jazz stars:
· David Kikikki, Mike Stern, Leni Stern, Jonathan Blake, Donald Edwards, Boris Kozlov,
· Barbara Dennerlein, Daniel Messina, Ed Howard, Alex Sipiagin and more.
The geography of concerts is from the US, New York, Japan, China, Malaysia to Azerbaijan and South Africa. Kestutis' playing exclusively enriches Latin American and African music.
After a few years of a creative break, Hernan and Kęstutis return to the stage with new ideas and compositions. The duo shares his accumulated experience, emotions and energy to create an organic musical compound that reflects their cultural diversity and musical excellence.
