Viviane Fado is hard not to fall in love with! Her voice is like a touch. Sometimes as soft as velvet, sometimes as powerful as a tornado. This unconventional performer of the traditional Portuguese music genre creates a colorful dialogue between longing fado, playful French chansons and dramatic tango. "Music needs no borders," says Viviane.
By diving virtuosically between musical genres, a uniquely apt description was found - Fado mediterranico.
Viviane's songs are like confessions or short stories that awaken feelings close to everyone. When the heart speaks, when the hot rhythms and the whole palette of emotions pour out, you don't need to understand the words. Right? The performer was born in France and moved to Portugal when she was thirteen. When asked where she feels best, she smiles and winks: "On stage. It's the home of my soul."
The singer's musical path began in the 1990s in the popular rock group Entre Aspas, which played even for stadiums. The group released six albums, and in 2005 Viviane started a solo career.
Viviane's work is heard on the main Portuguese radio stations, and music critics are full of praise for her.
