Actors and singers beloved by the audience, Lina Rastokaitė and Jokūbas Bareikis, in the theatrical project "Men from Mars, Women from Venus", will review with a smile the differences between men and women, their relationships and various, often even comical situations.
Men from Mars, Women from Venus is a live concert that combines elements of music and comedy. The performance will reveal the dialogues, monologues and discussions of men and women representing different planets - Mars and Venus - and there will also be no shortage of interaction with the audience - engaging situations, competitions, even interactive improvisations await. The concert, which is being prepared with a special scenography and lighting design, will not lack laughter, sentiments and, of course, the most beautiful pieces of music.
L. Rastokaitė and J. Bareikis, who contribute to the creation of the script, assure that the project will reflect their own stories, relationships and situations.
"All the stories in the script in one way or another come from our personal experiences, friends, acquaintances or relatives. They are born from the different attitudes of men and women towards certain things, and those misunderstandings are often just comical," says J. Bareikis. and Lina - the female one."
L. Rastokaitė claims that this project reflects the nature of masculinity and femininity.
"I believe that men and women reflect the natural things coded by nature itself. I think that evolution itself has set it up in such a way that men and women are different by nature, and during the concert we will try to review those differences, recognize them, laugh at them happily and enjoy them together with the audience," the actress invites to the concerts.
She adds that the witty but true line would be perfect here: "What is a successful marriage? It's not when two perfect people meet and enjoy life together. A successful marriage is when two completely different people meet and enjoy each other's differences."
It is about these differences and similarities, about adaptation, tolerance for each other with humor and live music that the actors will talk about in the concert "Men from Mars, Women from Venus".
