This concert program is a sensitive tribute to Litvak's origin composer Joseph Achron, whose music combines the liturgical heritage, the sound of romanticism and the 20th century. modernism. Two bright music for Lithuania and international stage meet on the stage - violinist Dalia Dėdinskaitė and pianist Lukas Geniušas, whose interpretations subtly reveal the multi -layered Achron's work. Alongside Achron's compositions, the works of other authors will be performed to extend the topics that the composer lived: the search for identity, the root echoes and the versatility of the music.
The program will be performed in Šiauliai, Kėdainiai and Telšiai - historic Jewish cultural centers, where this music acquires a special context.
Dalia Dėdinskaitė is one of the most prominent violinists of the modern Baltic countries. Her concert routes range from Europe to the US and New Zealand, and the shows were in prestigious halls - one Musikverein, Elbe Philharmonic, Julian School Paul Hall and elsewhere. Uncle from 2024 holds a concertmaster of the Estonian National Symphony Orchestra. The violinist is actively performing with the ensemble Duettissimo, where she is playing with cellist Gleb Pyšniak. Lukas Geniušas is firmly established as one of the most interesting and brightest pianists of his generation. Praised for his talent and maturity (The Guardian), he is constantly invited to perform recitals in the most prestigious concert halls of the world, such as London Wigmore Hall, Concertgebouw Astedarm, Paris Sally Gaveau, Louvre Auditorium Phillips Collection, Genoa Theater Carlo Felice, Milan's Salla Verdi and Moscow Conservatory Great Hall. He is also regularly invited to perform at festivals such as La Roque d'Anthéron, Piano Aux Jacobins, Schoss Elmaau, Reingau, Rur and Lokenhaus Music Festivals.
