The musical "My Fair Lady" is based on George Bernard Shaw's play "Pygmalion" and is considered one of the most successful and longest-running Broadway theater musicals, which later became an Academy Award-nominated film.

The main characters of the musical: Eliza Doolittle (a girl selling flowers on the street) and prof. Henry Higgins (a famous phonetician who revolved around high society). They get to know each other, experience various feelings, looking primarily for personal gain, but gradually get used to each other and create a special bond. The libretto also reflects the 20th century. the ideas of the society of the first decade, important themes of social inequality, gender discrimination, striving for a better life, public indifference are conveyed, the desire of male characters to control women is shown, feminist ideas are subtly highlighted. Modern audiences recognize issues that are still relevant, so the musical remains timeless.

This minimalist production of "My Fair Lady" aims to highlight the main theme of the work - the growth and transformation of the personality, to reveal the essential experiences of the characters and to convey the story intended by the creators. Musical passages are combined with spoken scenes and choreography.

Smiltė Murencevaitė studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater (LMTA), where she obtained a bachelor's degree (prof. R. Maciūtė's class) and a master's degree (I. Prudnikovaitė's class).

The roles created by the performer are Alice the Fox (J. Gaižauskas' "Buratin"), Servilia (W. A. ​​Mozart's "Tito's Mercy") and others. She has appeared on the stages of productions organized by the Klaipėda State Musical Theatre, the "Opera Accelerator" project. Soloist, together with prof. R. Lampsatyte, actively performs in Lithuania and Germany. She is presented to German opera agencies.

Domas Saulevičius studied at LMTA, where he obtained bachelor's and master's degrees (prof. A. Januta's class). He improved in master courses with Elena Batoukova–Kerl, Torsten Kerl, Justina Gringyte, Kristian Attila, Karola Theill, etc., participated in exchange programs such as Nord Opera program (Vilnius, Finland, Switzerland), Erasmus+ program (Italy, Germany, Romania). in 2019 the soloist won the Grand Prix of the "Kaunas sonorum" competition, 2023. became a semi-finalist of the "Copenhagen Lied-Duo" competition.

D. Saulevičius took part in the performance directed by Dalia Ibelhauptaitė Ch. Gounod's Faust (2020). In 2024, he made his debut as the Count in the production of W. A. ​​Mozart's opera "The Marriage of Figaro" in Helsinki organized by the Sibelius Academy (Finland) (directed by Noa Naamat). Other roles created by him: Papageno (W. A. ​​Mozart's "The Magic Flute"), Ben (G. C. Menotti's "The Telephone"), Džianis Schicchi ("G. Puccini's "Gianni Schicchi") and others. The performer actively performs in Lithuania and abroad, is a member of the Gijos ensemble.

Prof. Raminta Lampsatytė is a Lithuanian pianist, concertmaster, vocal pedagogue, musicologist, performing and teaching internationally. She studied piano, German and Roman studies, studied chamber music at the Mozarteum University of Salzburg, and earned a doctorate in musicology at the University of Berlin. R. Lampsatytė was a professor at the Hamburg University of Music and Theater, where she taught opera and Lied genre performance.
The pianist works with opera soloists in Lithuania and abroad as a concertmaster, conducts master classes on all continents, helps soloists prepare for opera agencies and auditions. She performs a lot, is the concertmaster of the Lithuanian National Opera and Ballet Theatre.
