"Ringing Moments" is an afternoon of piano miniatures, where the sensitivity of Fryderyk Chopin and the colors of Claude Debussy will meet in the interpretations of pianist Joris Sodeikas - music that is born in dialogue, silence and a brief presence in the here and now. March 1 will weave a light thread of romanticism into the mood of this concert, associated with the birthday of Fryderyk Chopin.
Joris Sodeika studied at the National M.K. Čiurlionis School of Arts, studied at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theater. He improved in master classes with well-known Lithuanian and foreign pianists. He performed in Germany, Italy, Spain, appeared at festivals "Gaida", "Kristupos festivalis", "Night of Culture" and others. The performer's repertoire includes both classical and contemporary music, and in his creative activities he does not shy away from searching for new artistic expressions and experimenting with different musical directions.
The pianist is characterized by a clear, transparent piano sound, the ability to create a logical, evocative musical thought and a delicate attention to detail. His work combines classical sensibility and contemporary musical imagination, and his concerts often resemble a single musical narrative, in which the pieces sound like characters in dialogue with each other, and the performer speaks expressively to the audience.
