Concert description The festive closing concert of the festival "Bridges over the Atlantic: Lithuania and America" ​​is intended to celebrate the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. This special evening will symbolically unite the cultural heritage of the two countries and emphasize the long-standing friendship between Lithuania and the USA based on the common values ​​of democracy, creativity and freedom.
The music of Lithuanian and American composers will meet in the program - from the lyrical and colorful works of M. K. Čiurlionis, Juoz Pakalnis and Balis Dvarions to bright opus of George Gershwin, Amy Beach, Henry Cowell and John Williams. The concert will be complemented by impressive works by Claude Debussy and Ferenc Liszt and other composers, revealing the influence of European musical traditions on the cultural dialogue of both continents.
As many as twenty festival performers will appear on the stage - young talents and professional musicians from different countries of the world. Their joint performance will not only be the culmination of the festival, but also a living example of international cooperation.
The concert will symbolically end a week full of music, creativity and cultural exchange, once again confirming the main mission of Vivace Vilnius - to create a space where music becomes a bridge between peoples, generations and different cultures of the world.

Bridges across the Atlantic: Lithuania and America" ​​The solemn closing concert of the festival "Bridges across the Atlantic: Lithuania and America" ​​is dedicated to the 250th anniversary of the independence of the United States of America. This momentous anniversary commemorates the values ​​of freedom, democracy, and human dignity that have shaped the history of the United States for more than two centuries and remain relevant to the entire democratic world.
The relations between Lithuania and the United States of America have been based on mutual respect, partnership and common belief in freedom for many decades.
