September 16 at 7 p.m. The literary, musical and theatrical presentation of the book "Cobra's Lullaby" by Juoz Gaižauskas will take place in the Vilnius City Hall.
This is an exceptional evening where literature will be combined with music and theatrical expression, and the story of the new book will unfold through the actors' voices, a lively atmosphere and a creative meeting with the audience.
"Cobra's Lullaby" is a story about a pilgrim who after one the fateful clatter in the mountains leaves no strength to take a single step. There is not a soul around, the nearest village is a dozen kilometers away, and everyone who could help is far ahead. But he doesn't stop. Every step becomes a knife, every meter an hour, but his determination only grows stronger.
What lies behind such impossible persistence? What does it mean to travel when the body refuses to obey? And can a mad dash with virtually no control over your legs still make sense?
Cobra's Lullaby is a deadly punch and kiss in one. Not everyone is destined to hear it. And after listening, you will have to choose: break the promise made at the moment of death or sign again with blood?
