The master of percussion, bubbling with musical ideas, presents his latest solo program.
Lithuanian percussion landscape is unimaginable without Arkadius Gotesmans - one of the most creative representatives of the music scene. Arkady is interested in shadows, theater buildings, where hints of various scenarios can be seen, new percussive sounds that a person cannot hear, but feels. Gotesman's music has many voices, new combinations of instruments, magic, poetry. He performs solo, specifically virtuosic and theatrical parts of his works, collaborates with musicians of various genres. In the compositions, the polyphony of collectivity and improvisation is quite clear, many unusual charms, hand movements, humor, eccentricity and primitiveness of African drum music. Recently inspired to perform solo, Arkadius resembles a master of the language of a vastly expanded drum kit, a quintessential percussion colorist, for whom the layer of sound - each ghostly overtone - from each note is an inner echo of the human voice, a real and surreal vision of hyper-reality.
