At the closing concert of the festival, a real dessert for music connoisseurs is the brass ensemble "Spanish Brass". in 1996 the ensemble won first place at the VI International Ville de Narbonne (France) wind quintet competition, considered the most prestigious competition of this genre in the world. in 2020 the ensemble was awarded the Spanish Ministry of Culture's National Music Prize. In addition to 32 CDs, the ensemble organizes festivals dedicated to brass music: "BALZ - Festival Spanish Brass Alzira" and "Brassurround", where famous ensembles and guest soloists appear. In the program of the "Vilnius Winds" festival, the ensemble will present both opuses of chamber music and rarely performed compositions specially written for brass quintet and wind orchestra.
