As in all concert programs of the folklore ensemble "Nalšia", this one too - "Do you remember this melody..?" – folk songs sung in the last century, but still not forgotten today, nostalgic romances, the ensemble will intrigue with more modern, sometimes even playful interpretations of time-tested popular melodies.

What to expect to experience what the people who come to the "Nalšia" concert probably desire and long for? We guess that the fullness of feelings is the same in youth, different in adulthood. And the non-trivial musical expression of these feelings, the opportunity not only to listen, but also to recognize, to sing together again a melody that was once heard, sung for a while, and now forgotten. We are sure that such songs never get old and remain relevant for centuries. Together we will sing about the bliss of first love, there will be the sorrow of unrequited love, and undeveloped rose blossoms, and broken hearts, men will take comfort in unrequited unrequited love, girls will always want to believe in the love of the one and only... Even love letters will be questioned: maybe it's better to "read it - tear it up" and calm" - neither sorrow nor that pain. Eh, that's the way love is - it doesn't know where it comes from and never warns when it will leave... And where there are romances, there's also tango, waltz and foxtrot - couples will spin on stage and, perhaps, even in the audience hall..?

Nalšia tries to sing popular romances in the way they were traditionally sung by people in Lithuania. However, sometimes the exceptional, mesmerizing lyricism of the most beautiful romances, the depth of poetry, begs for a special musical expression. Therefore, daring to deviate from the authentic traditions of music and singing, the ensemble twirls the melodies and rhythms of romances in newer, nowadays more common ways, and seeks to revive them, raise them to the level of experiments, unconventional interpretation and works worthy of a high music culture. Here, "Nalšiai" is nicely supported by a long-time friend - a professional, creative performer Rytas Lingė (forepijon). His musicianship together enriches the arrangements of songs and romances with new, unexpected colors.

The concert program - "Do you remember this melody..?" - seems to crown the renaissance of romances that began in recent years. , provides space for their unique, creative development. But even now, more modernly sung romances remain what they have always been - the song of our hearts.
