One of the world’s most popular Icelandic bands, Of Monsters and Men, will finally arrive in Vilnius for their very first performance in Lithuania.

During the concert, the indie folk/rock band will present their new, fourth album, “All Is Love and Pain in the Mouse Parade”. The album title reflects a theme that vocalists Nanna Hilmarsdóttir and Ragnar Þórhallsson often explore from two different perspectives. The album examines “the duality of things – where there is love, there will inevitably be pain. You can’t have one without the other,” says Nanna.

Vocalist Ragnar Þórhallsson adds: “In a way, it is an album about growing up, but it is also about returning home and facing the past.”

The success story of Of Monsters and Men began fifteen years ago, when they triumphed in the “Músíktilraunir” competition in their homeland, Iceland. Their debut album “My Head Is An Animal” became a hit, placing the Icelandic band in the Top 10 of the most popular albums in the United States.
