Mindaugas Vadoklis ir Vytautas Straižys Jazz duo

The trumpeter Mindaugas Vadoklis is one of the most prominent artists of Lithuania's improvisational music, whose name often sounds at major jazz festivals in the country. He appeared in Birštonas and Vilnius jazz scenes, collaborated with collectives such as the Lithuanian Art Orchestra, Lithuania Jazz Ensemble, Klaipėda Jazz Orchestra, Baltic Salsa Orchestra. Vadoklis is also a participant of various ensembles - quartet, Jazzconnect Trio, Sounds of Future, and his organization "The Arts Workshop" has become a platform for many cultural initiatives. In recent years, he has become one of the most active figures in the jazz scene in Lithuania, working with artists such as Viktorija Gečytė, Anyanya Udongwo, Blue Rose, Maria Arutiunova. In addition to performance, Vytautas creates unique thematic projects - from James Bond Music West to Bill Evans inspired by recitals - and is the founder of Downtown Piano Lab, who has become a cultural phenomenon of Vilnius.
