In the mid-1980s, the direction of new drawing was formed in Lithuanian music, highlighting radically mechanical aspects of music. The compositions of this music authors named "Machine's generation" - Richard Kabelis, Šarūnas Nakas, Rytis Mažulis, Gintaras Sodeika, Nomeda Valančiūtė, Tomas Juzeliūnas - are reborn in the new context of living electronic music.
The concert "Machine Generation" is presented as a living, multilayered sound organism, which reflect on the relationship between the machine and man. It is not just a reform or reinterpretation - it is a new dialogue with almost the most conceptual phenomenon of Lithuanian music.

The LMTA electronic music ensemble is investigating the boundaries of electronic sounds since 2019. This creative laboratory of the Department of the Composition concentrates on various disciplines students seeking to delve into electronic music and free improvisation, often by connecting acoustic instruments with electronics. Not only does the ensemble perform compositions, it also discovers new arms of music composition. Here, curiosity meets musical cooperation.
The ensemble is curated by Assoc. Dr. Jonas Jurkūnas (artistic director) and lecturer. Dr. Matas Samulionis (Chief Concert Master).

This year, the Music Duduo merges with the Baltic Music Days (Baltic Music Days) in a different Baltic Music.
The changing meaning of this year's festival invites you to look at intermediality and at the same time explore the various forms of transformation of meaning, observe the process itself and discover how a whole new field of meanings opens up depending on the media.
The topic was not chosen by accident: in 2025 we celebrate the 150th birth anniversary of M. K. Čiurlionis. In his work, music and painting intertwined synetezically, creating one of the most striking examples of how different art languages ​​can extend and transform each other.
