Veronica Chichi does not need to be introduced to jazz lovers in Lithuania, as it is not only a well -known vocalist of retro jazz band The Ditties, but also one of the most prominent jazz vocalists in Lithuania, whose music is full of traditional jazz improvisation and contemporary jazz gracefulness. The title of her debut album, "A Singer of a Thousand Faces," aptly reflects a variety of rackers and styles that she engages in her work.
This evening is special - Veronica presents a new phase of creation with her quartet, new works, a new sound. Veronica - a mature jazz composer and a strong leader of her group, Veronica gives courage and playfulness for her compositions and interpretations of jazz standards. Her voice is known for her ability to touch the souls of listeners, creating a deep and emotional connection.
The ensemble is adorned with bright and charismatic partners of Veronic scene, also known as Jazz Fell, who are fascinated by Lithuanian and foreign listeners with their brave and technical improvisations.
Veronica group appeared in many Lithuanian festivals and received international recognition playing at the Cairo Jazz Festival in Egypt, Leopolis Jazz Festival in Lviv, Ukraine, Saulkrastas Jazz Festival in Latvia and Opus Jazz Club Budapest.
Its participation in the international project Jazz Exchange, along with musicians such as Bojan Z and Artists from Serbia and Luxembourg, demonstrates her devotion to music and great amniotic. The project brought the shows at prestigious Like a Jazz Machine Luxembourg and Novi Sad Jazz Festival in Serbia, and its climax was the album recording, which is currently in the publishing process.
